Are you having trouble trying to decide on gifts for family or friends? These personal gift jars may be just the thing you need.
Like all our little DIY projects, you don’t have to spend an enormous amount of money to make people happy. A fun selection of gifts and a heartfelt note is all you need to do to make someone smile, so let’s get to it. I purchased these gorgeous jars from Spotlight and went on filling them with fun objects.

Perfect for teen girls trying to work out their makeup game. Make sure they are getting a good start with some quality products, or for smaller girls who love to dress up.

Cookie Jar
This is the perfect gift for when you are stuck in that situation of not having a gift! I love this idea, as it's simple to pull together yet so cute and crafty. And, how could I share it without giving you the recipe?
Ingredients
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Method
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
Place flour mixture in 1-quart jar.
Layer remaining ingredients in order listed above, pressing firmly after each layer.
Seal with lid and decorate with fabric and ribbon.
Cookie Cooking Method
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Beat 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) softened butter or margarine, 1 large egg and 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until blended.
Add cookie mix and 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional); mix well, breaking up any clumps.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Note: Makes approx. two dozen cookies.
