Create Your Own Easter Crafts

Being a mother, I remember the dread I felt knowing the kids were going to be overloaded with sweets and chocolates come Easter time.
If you are anything like me, you have already eaten your way through so much chocolate in the lead up to Easter, that the last thing you feel like on the big day is…more chocolate!
So let’s mix it up a little and get creative with our gifting this year. Not everything has to be laden with sweet treats; you can just provide the carrier for the said sweets, and remain guilt free! With a few spare days up our sleeve, we all have time to get a little crafty don’t you think.

Circular Gift Card
POM POM Bunny ::
What you’ll need…
A roll of grey wool of your choice (this is for the bunny body, it can be thick or fine ply)
Pom Pom maker

Thread to match your wool colour
Doll eyes
Scissors
How to make it...
Make two circular pom poms, one-half a size larger than the other.
Using the wool tail from each of the pom poms, tie them tightly together to form the bunny body so that you cannot see where they are joined.
Cut out four bunny ears from your felt, two large grey and two small in the pink. Also cut a small busy nose (can be a simple circle)
Sew your ears to the smaller pompom, then sew the eyes and the nose. Done!
