A Delicious Donut Inspired Bedroom

What little person wouldn’t love a donut themed bedroom? I know I certainly would!
The donut theme has stepped into the bedroom and I am in love; all the colour and all the fun, it’s just too pretty not to like! You could really style this towards either gender but I like to keep my bedroom neutral with pops of colour here and there to add in the personality.
Children's bedrooms should be bright, fun and full of personality. I love styling a room with a pattern, whether it be the sheets, blankets or feature pillows, with a pop of printed colour you can't go wrong. You can tone the look down with a plain colour sheet set or really create a statement bedroom with mixing and matching patterns. Bed linen like this is so fun because you don't really need to have anything else in the room as the bed becomes the focal point.
Using a sweet spotted flat sheet, I wanted to keep this room as fresh and light as possible. It does lean little towards the feminine side, but I toned the pinkness down by introducing some pale blues in the quilted throw and pillowcases.
I am a girl who loves a cushion (or four!) and these cute donut cushions are perfect. Sack Me! have a fantastic assortment of donut inspired bedding and I just love that they are not sickly sweet, but very cool and illustrative. These patterns and palette work back well with the simple spots on a white base keeping it fresh and clean.
I think a bedroom that looks as cute as this will definitely inspire your child to have pride in their room, keep it clean and hopefully want to make the bed. Now that's something I love the idea of!!
