The Perfect Bloody Mary
Need a little pick-me-up?
I’ve got just the trick for you! I love a good Bloody Mary when I have over indulged, and I have the perfect recipe to distract you from that headache. Or should I call it wine flu?
It took me a while to get into drinking Bloody Mary’s as they are acquired taste, but once I did I seriously fell in love. They do hit the spot, and with a little nip of Tabasco – Divine! Let’s get straight to it shall we?
Ingredients
- 4 oz. vodka
- 16 oz. tomato juice
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Juice of one lemon
- 2 tbsp. olive juice
- 2 tbsp. horseradish
- One tsp. Hot sauce
- Freshly ground pepper
For the garnish
- 1 stalk of celery
- 1 lemon slices
- Optional olivies
Method
- Combine all the ingredients—minus the vodka—in a pitcher and shake. Taste and adjust seasoning to preference.
- Run a lemon along the rims of each glass.
- Fill glasses with ice, pour 2 oz of vodka in each, and finish with the Bloody Mary mix.
- Garnish with lemon slice, olives, and celery.
