The Classic Gin & Tonic

I love nothing more at the end of a long day than a sneaky G&T; it is my 5 pm wind-down tipple…
It’s refreshing, light and always seems to hit the spot. An excellent tonic and a few squeezes of lemon or slices of cucumber, or for a super summery kick - mix it in with ginger ale and limes. Yum! I love discovering new blends and flavors, and one unique label that has come into my gin loving hands is Cedar Fox. A new distilling company created in Melbourne (love my hometown!)
Cedar Fox Distilling Co is a new small batch micro-distillery located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, Australia making my favorite tipple - Gin! Using lemons from the maker's mothers garden (love that so much!), juniper berries and coriander seeds amongst a collection of other fine ingredients (a collection of 10 botanicals including juniper, Lebanese cucumber, Szechuan pepper, and rosemary), this gin is delish, and I am in love! I am not ashamed to say I am attracted to a sexy bottle and having a label with a splash of gold - this gin will look fantastic on your drinks trolley.
I love having a cool drinks trolley laden with my favorite Gins, a selection of glassware and some garnishes to choose from. I recently had a backyard birthday party, and a welcoming drinks tray is always a fun station to create. It is something guests can wander over to at their leisure and help themselves taking the pressure off you to serve drinks! We created a gorgeous cocktail to serve the ladies on arrival, all with the base of cedar fox gin. Yum!
