How To Throw The Ultimate Beach Party

I love the idea of a European beach club and, while this may be a bit more involved to set up, it is a total hit when guests arrive. When planning your beach party, it’s all about colour and using this colour en masse. A fantastic beach chair and matching towel were the starting point for my beach party decor, inspiring pops of colour I have used for the food and drinks bar.
With a collection of blow-up beach accessories, a DIY suntan lotion bar, food and drink stations and of course, simple seats for lounging, the beach is the perfect stage for relaxed and happy gatherings. A great, summer-inspired invitation will set the tone for the day, creating an event everyone will look forward to.
Time for a Sandcastle Competition
A great bonding session for those with a competitive streak is a sandcastle competition. Have a selection of spades and buckets, piles of seaweed and driftwood and shells that everyone can use when creating their masterpiece. Give your guests a basket and ten minutes to comb the beach for extra details, set a timer and let the games begin!
After chatting, swimming and eating lunch, it will most definitely be time to relax and lay in the sun. Set up matching beach towels so that it looks like a private beach club, with fan and cold bottles of water at the ready. Have your beach party playlist set up with a small speaker, along with a selection of sunscreen lotions. It’s time for your guests to relax in style.
