A sweet pea cocktail? You betcha!
I am a big fan of the cocktail on arrival. Never one to stray from a theme, I have found a delicious pea-infused cocktail. The idea sounds a little kooky, but it works with the right balance of lemon, sweet pea and vodka. Not only is it a gorgeous green shade, but it will undoubtedly stun your guests this Easter! Now, stick with me here!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons fresh (or frozen, thawed) peas
1 lemon wedge
1 teaspoon sugar
2 ounces vodka
1 pea tendril (optional)
Method
Muddle 2 tablespoons of fresh (or frozen, thawed) peas, one lemon wedge, and one teaspoon of sugar in a cocktail shaker until peas are completely mashed. Add 2 ounces of vodka; fill the shaker with ice. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds. Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with mint or a pea tendril (optional).
